The Aqara Video Doorbell G4, which includes the Aqara Smart Hub M2, is a HomeKit Secure Video Doorbell with local face recognition capabilities. To ensure the safety of your data, the doorbell can be connected to Apple HomeKit Secure Video, which requires an iCloud subscription to record and playback. Notifications can be sent to your Apple devices.

The G4 is a unique video doorbell camera that features local AI-powered face recognition alerts, automations, and much more. It is compatible with HomeKit, Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT.

The doorbell offers 24/7 1080P FHD recording, allowing you to check what happened at your front door whenever you need to. The event-based cloud storage of up to 7 days is included at no charge, and the device also supports Micro SD cards of up to 512 GB, which can be accessed through the chime repeater and are protected from outside access.

The Aqara Video Doorbell G4 can be powered by a 6 AA battery pack for up to 4 months or connected to existing doorbell wiring (12-24V AC and 8-24V DC supported) for constant power. The doorbell's dimensions are 5.57" x 2.56" x 1.20" and it is recommended to be installed on a porch or shaded area.

The Aqara Hub M2 required for the system requires a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network connection. One Aqara Hub M2 can connect up to 128 Aqara devices, with Zigbee repeaters required. The Hub supports Zigbee 3.0, ensuring the latest, most stable, and energy-efficient technology.

Additionally, the 360° Infrared Control feature allows you to control your existing IR devices, such as fans, air conditioners, and TVs, from any part of your room by voice and via home automations (indoor use only).
